Fougue is a powerful French word that means passion, enthusiasm or zeal. Jacinthe and Sonia put their own “Fougue” to work for their clients, providing services in organizational development, appreciative inquiry and service design.

Sonia Bergevin

Since 2015, Sonia Bergevin has provided external consulting services to private and public organizations across Canada, helping them improve their organizational performance. She is motivated by tangible results, and focuses on a client’s business objectives to help them deliver an outstanding customer experience and optimize their operational efficiency.

By putting her experience to use in a range of SMEs and Fortune 500 companies, she has developed expertise that is applicable to a wide variety of industries. Sonia is completely bilingual and works in both English and French.

Sonia is passionate about service design and believes in the power of a multidisciplinary team to co-create solutions that are desirable, feasible and viable.

Professional Background

Sonia holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Ottawa and has more than 20 years’ experience in the corporate world. She began her career in human resources out of a desire to help employees improve their performance. Being an entrepreneur at heart, Sonia then launched her own business providing SMEs with human resources support. Sonia eventually discovered the world of operational excellence and earned her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. She uses this knowledge to guide her clients through the process of implementing a culture of continuous improvement.

Her path led her to service design, an expertise she has been developing since 2015. Sonia has integrated this approach into her arsenal of skills, which includes design thinking, appreciative inquiry, change management, organizational transformation and a passion for operational excellence. Sonia stays current on the latest trends in service design and organizational development, and actively pursues professional development opportunities so she can offer the very best to her clients.
